It began with an idea.

I started out on my massage journey backstage at the Download music festival when I experienced reflexology for the first time and realised how in-tune and responsive my body was. On training for my first marathon running too far too soon, not stretching enough and other newbie mistakes I learnt lots about my own body mechanics and the power of taking personal responsibility for my own wellness with the help of professionals like physios, podiatrists and running trainers. I knew I didn’t want to work in marketing full time and the idea of training to become a massage therapist was born.

I was working for an advertising agency in London and living in the thick of things on Shoreditch High Street when I began studying toward anatomy and physiology with the Middlesex School of Complementary Medicine. On relocating to Scotland I didn’t pursue massage until after my eldest was born. I’ve since trained in Swedish, Acupressure chair massage, Pregnancy, Thai foot massage and most recently Sports massage.
